That said, of course there are always exceptions and different sized teams and projects. My post was mainly about inheriting attribute soup and being asked to maintain it. Or the instances where I can do something beautiful in css that to do in Tailwind, it would needlessly add hours of setup, etc..

What's up with these dudes? I am aware of components and apply directives and everything else. I just don't see the point. In terms of readability, maintainability, and of course size of project I will normally prefer straight css. Reason: I am extremely proficient with it, and like simplicity.
