Commentary: Losing a child unlocked a pain I never knew existed. Having my child’s legacy be associated with a politically charged and controversial operation instead of the positivity and light she contributed to those within her community is simply unbearable.

I'm not gonna play the Grief Olympics, but I know from experience that grieving a sudden death is different. Especially if it involves trauma. There's the getting your brain to accept that they're gone for starters. I'm 4 years out from my daughter's death and it still feels unreal.

So, I live in MA and I remember the last time the Board went up against ATD. They did not do well. I don't shop here anymore (Stop and Shop online has me in a choke hold) but they're always my second stop. They're a good employer under ATD. I hope they get to stay that way.
