FYI :“Destruction of federal property is a federal crime. 18 U.S. Code § 1361 defines the crime as willfully injuring or committing any depredation against U.S. government property. If the damage exceeds $1k it is a felony with a fine, up to ten years in prison or both.”

The Trump admin literally conceded in its own motion to unseal the Epstein grand jury documents that the court could not unseal them. The government even cited the very case law that prohibits it—prompting the judge to note that, by their own admission, the court lacks the authority to unseal them.
