Back in MY day we got lost in videogames and LOOKED UP where to go/what to do next either in official guides or on GameFAQs. Kids these days have GOOGLE, they should be expected to (at least *learn how to*) look things up
I think it's okay if players who don't pay attention get lost.

4 years' break from ACNH and now I'm back and destroying my "finished" island because I don't like that my villagers' yards are massively unequal in size and changing them is having a domino effect on another section of my island

if it's a teeny consolation to those who might not get to go to na fanfest-- if it's anything like 2023, the best parts will be seeing your friends and the concerts.
you can save a bunch of money just arranging a discord vc with those friends and watching the panel livestreams together.
