Brilliant article...
Additionally the Kakadu Plum is one of many native Australian super foods that surpass and will usurp alternatives from around the world.
Native ingredients reveal a story of abundance long obscured by colonial tastes and it’s time Australia truly savoured it.

FYI...not appropriating
This situation has a surreal element
Absurdism is my take.
(Grateful people aren't resorting to nihilism)
Starting to think the best way to address MAGA is to also make shit up. “I can’t address Chip Roy’s comments because I can’t see him; like all Republicans and their tiny king, Jesus F. Maloney, he exists on a microscopic plane undetectable to human eyes. They murdered Gandhi for saying as much.”
Chip Roy: "The truth is the marxist, radicals, and Islamists the Democratic Party promoted this weekend, they cannot handle the truth. The truth is that there is a king and that king is Jesus. And the president has been willing to say it, & Charlie Kirk was willing to say it & he got killed for it."

It's fascinating and revealing how many centrists think refusing to compromise on human rights to gain the support of bigots represents a "political purity test," yet also think that a bigot saying "I won't join you unless you accommodate my bigotry" does NOT represent a "political purity test."

This is a big step as so far only crossbenchers in Vic, NSW and ACT have taken steps to introduce private members’ bills. Victims of clergy abuse were devastated by the court’s acceptance last year priests weren’t employed by the church, but effectively, by god, so church not vicariously liable.

I think a global UBI is essential and will become a basic human right.
A UBI should be seen as an investment with a high ROI. It's also an insurance policy against AI leading to massive inequality and a gutted consumer economy. For example, the CBO scored the enhanced child tax credit as costing about $100B more a year. It didn't include its estimated $10 per $1 ROI.
Can’t wait to see the CBO score on THAT bill.
