My view on tonight: I don’t like it, but I also don’t see it as the end of the world. It basically pauses things until the end of January, and sets up this fight again but with SNAP and VA off the table b/c they’re funded through September. 🧵 1/x

I’m a former Republican who got negatively polarized into being anti-anti-Mamdani, but I just can’t understand getting negatively polarized into supporting the Chinese government.
