There’s a kind of bigotry that’s utterly invisible to liberals because it’s directed at women. In this case, it’s a blame the victim argument that says women have been too aggressive about refusing to tolerate sexist behavior and therefore we’re to blame for men being misogynists

There's this really cool event happening in my city tomorrow. It's like pub crawl but for art/architecture organized by the city's art gallery. I signed up for it. After I got my confirmation email, it occurred to me to email back to make sure the bus was accessible.

For the record, making any disability benefit contingent upon or even affected by a person’s relationship status should be illegal.
It is certainly immoral, and a lingering remnant of the same Eugenics ideology that is behind forced sterilization and the excessive ease of assisted death programs.
