It was great meeting our candidates at the Wendell Ford Dinner.
Loved getting fired up with Dems from Montgomery, Clark, Powell, and others in Mt. Sterling last night.

Always great to hear my old Team Kentucky colleagues Lt Governor Jacqueline Coleman and Rocky Adkins speak, and to meet so many Kentuckians.

Congressman Brett Guthrie is plotting with Freedom Caucus extremists to slash $880 billion from Medicaid while 234,382 people in his own district rely on it.

When nearly a third of your constituents need this health care, betraying them isn't leadership — it's abandonment.
Hurdles remain for Republicans' Medicaid quest

Trump’s reckless leadership will have a generational impact on Appalachia, if KY GOP cowards keep letting him take vital learning resources from Kentucky.

In Eastern Kentucky's mountains, WMMT isn't just radio — it's a lifeline.

Trump's cuts to public broadcasting would silence the authentic Appalachian voices that keep our communities informed and connected.
Public radio stations targeted for cuts by Trump have provided lifelines to listeners
In many remote and rural areas across the U.S., the stations can be a lone source of local news.

150,000 Kentucky families are about to be in the dark. Trump wants to destroy LIHEAP — the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program.

As Trump's tariffs drive prices higher, the ultra-wealthy are getting a tax break and Kentuckians are getting bigger bills to worry about.
Trump's FY26 budget plan would cut all utilities assistance for 6 million households.
About 6 million households could lose utilities assistance if HHS' budget proposal is passed, experts warn. HHS has allocated zero dollars to LIHEAP.
