A legitimate concern with Mastodon and the Fediverse in general is that of UX...but that only applies if you are using the default frontend. No one is forcing you to use the default mastodon.social or whatever site the instance you're on is. IceCubes, Moshidon, etc. are all good. I use Phanpy Web.

People who say that there are no platforms for photos, art, writing, etc. on the #fediverse are an example of this skill issue. If you don't put in the effort to seek out your space, you won't find it. It certainly won't go looking for you.

A suburb is where we cut down all the trees and name the streets after them. This is "Treeline Way." Climate change demands that we greatly increase tree canopy cover of our cities. We need to eliminate fossil fuel use, but shade trees provide help along the way. I'll say more about this soon.
