Maths teacher in a sixth form college. I oppose genocide.
Looking at yesterday’s Guardian columnists Christmas gift ideas.
Not sure I would be overly delighted to receive a bag of flour for Xmas.

If anyone was thinking of getting a SIGNED copy of The Mathematicians' Library for someone for Christmas, I have 42 copies ready and raring to go: £25 (+ £5 delivery in the UK unless you can pick it up from Milton Keynes).

As always, a boost of this post would be much appreciated 😁

Happy tears, I think.
Retail sales are the latest UK data series to suffer from "ONSistis". So we've launched an interactive game — Is It Borked? — for you to guess which data series the ONS has been forced to suspend.

The booking protection is being useless saying I need a drs note despite the fact I've sent my A&E report stating my broken arm.

A drs note is £45. The tickets were 40 in total.

If anyone is willing to buy the tickets let me know.

Right. I've entered a half marathon (for the first time in my life!) on 12th October and am raising money for Cancer UK. If you'd like to donate great, if not, please share the link :)

🧵 Next year my team have requested CPD on using tech in lessons. eg Geogebra/ Desmos/ AI.

QUESTION 1. Can you help me by pointing me in the direction of good resources that will help me plan sessions for them on these? I’m not a technophobe but it’s not something I do enough either.

I'm having a bit of a clear out and getting rid of my A level teaching notes. They include notes, examples and exercises with solutions.

Would anyone like them? You can have them for the cost of postage. Message me if interested.

Pearson are acting in bad faith and need to provide transparency on what went wrong during this year's A-Level Maths papers. Meeting individual teachers behind closed doors and telling them not to speak out on social media is appalling.
