An amazingly #warm and sunny day for #November. #HighTide #Dogs #Hampshire The sounds of thousands of #WildFowl was the background track to my walk. #BrentGeese #Curlews to name but a few.

I witnessed a #wonderful thing today. #Birdwatching at #Keyhaven at High Tide and saw a #Kingfisher whizzing over the seawall, to the submerged reeds . It hovered several times and caught a fish. We saw the bird do this on separate occasions. I've only ever seen them catch fish from a perch before.

I heard the first #BrentGeese and #Wigeon today. Too far away to see but my ears are also my eyes .

Such a beautiful day yesterday. This is Ashlett Creek in #Hampshire near #Fawley. Despite the oil refinery near by, the mudflats and estuary are full of amazing #Wildfowl. I feel such joy to see and hear the #Curlews in particular.

Although I love #Autumn, especially the cooler temps, I'm feeling blue because the day ends so soon. Also it has rained nearly every day for 2 weeks. Good for the #garden but not so much fun for #gardening.
