In the movie Psycho, Janet Leigh stands directly under the shower head and then turns the water on. That is why the movie is called Psycho, one assumes. I turned it off. Stupid.

“Don’t feed the trolls” also extends to bad opinion pieces in papers of record.

They run them bc people react to them the most.

If we stop linking to bad columns and instead post thinkers we find valuable (& generate convo around it), incentives change.

It’s not easy and takes constant practice!

Just a reminder for everyone new to the platform, the only thing that matters here is user engagement, so when you come across a troll or a bot, the WORST thing you can do is argue. Just use the robust block feature or ignore them altogether, and eventually the void will swallow them

Netflix - please stop minimising the end credits of movies to suggest something else. Let viewers enjoy the soundtrack and see the cast and crew that worked on the film. We'll exit it ourselves when ready to.
