Having an election was not my idea. I knew it would be divisive at a time when Canadian solidarity was needed more than ever. Today each of us brings what we value to the table. May wisdom and kindness prevail.

On this mostly quiet border road, the “thwop thwop thwop” of helicopters flying overhead is a daily occurrence now. The Americans fly at least two times a day and the Canadian black hawk helicopter has already circled above us, dropping lower and lower, twice as we’ve walked to the mail.

US aid to Ukraine since Feb 2022 totals $128 billion, mostly older weapons, not cash.

The crypto industry is seeking a bailout of $100 billion from the US Treasury. That is cash.

Remember that when crypto CEOs accuse anyone else of "grifting."

As Trump makes concessions to Russia, he is showing weakness on a level unprecedented in modern US history. His position is so weak that it is unlikely to convince anyone. Trump is a sheep in wolf’s clothing. The wolves can tell the difference

The audacity of Vance scolding Europe for having annulled Romanian election results due to Russian interference, representing a president who violently physically attacked the US system of governance and refused to acknowledge his defeat, still claiming the elections was stolen, is simply disgusting
