I'm not a bit naive concerning the anticipated behavior of selfish authoritarian assholes, but it feels as if the tide has turned just a little. The courts at the federal level or still holding a year into this. That feels like hope to me.

What team lead hasn't had that nightmare when somebody who they worked with on the project didn't trap for a possible NullPointerException? And in failing that brought down the entire application in production. Oh, and went on vacation the day the app went live leaving the lead to take the heat.
