Don't be unfair, it has -also- made life hell for people in arts/crafts, added a massive amount of unnecessary work for educators and book publishers, made every website more expensive to run due to scraping, lowered the barriers to entry for scams, poisoned whole communities, cost people jobs...
so far the only concrete thing ai has done is make the entire tech market worse and every consumer facing tech product less usable or accessable

I just said this the other day. Theres no excuse inthis day in age with technology people are able to directly help ppl w/o scammy non profits giving you bare minimum. People will really help. We’ve seen this happen many times.
