Assuming things go well for us, I'm personally looking forward to seeing us banish some demons that date back to 1999 (my first sporting heartbreak). And if we do the unexpected, people in the team should be saying "we've been planning this for 2 years", just like Japan and NZ said.

As a practised hater myself, I really respect the Champions Cup admin for letting ‘gym freak’ Henry Pollock give it large about his strength test result… and then over the course of two videos show not only was worse than all the other players, but all the refs too.

Absolutely top level stuff.

This and "well (s)he's not that bad, in fairness" are the biggest compliments that any ref should expect to hear (with exceptions here and there). And fair play to Ringrose for acknowledging that he probably wouldn't last long as the man in the middle.

I'd usually post a quote about Seymour Skinner's house being on fire, but hasn't this been reported before?

A cynic would say that the tournament will be rigged to suit Portugal. But you and I wouldn't be so cynical, now would we?
Cristiano Ronaldo has avoided a suspension for the start of next summer’s World Cup after FIFA handed the Portugal captain a three-match ban, with the final two games suspended for “a one-year probation period”.

This is my 6th year posting this same message. Black Friday is a nonsense with often pretend discounts on stuff you probably don’t need. We’ll do as we always do at this time and increase the 1% of all income we give to Women’s Aid to 10% on web sales over the weekend. Fuck Black Friday. #speirgorm

That has to be one of the most stupid red cards I've ever seen in a professional game of football. Getting sent off is one thing, but with your own teammate??? #MNUEVE

First it was the Lions Tour. Now there are more injuries to contend with. Fuxache 🙄. Speedy recovery to Baird and (possibly) Hansen.

The early shoulder charge that wasn't carded led the players to lose all faith in the ref. But that's no excuse for the awful discipline, which was our biggest killer.

SA we're better in almost every facet, but we can take some pride in not letting the score turn into a disaster. #IREvRSA
