As my current project gets closer & closer to finished I am terrified that I am not a good enough writer to pull this off. It's a really great story, a great premise, it's got legs. I just don't know if I can do it justice.

With the discussion of long-form, creator owned being a hard sell right now. There is a place it can and is still thriving - Kickstarter. More and more creators are going there with the intent to serialize. Is it more work? Probably. I've mailed 1400 packages since June.

I just saw this posted "If you’re not ready to increase your discipline, then prepare to lower your desires. " and it is honestly the story of my life. My inability to he disciplined has led me to limit my dreams and even my expectations of myself. I'm working on it but man it's slow going.

I just finished a rewatch of season 1 of Ripper Street, an early 2010's drama set in 1888. It's a police drama that embraces the themes of a turn of the century western really well. Definitely worth a watch.
