Please tell me this will actually be a reckoning, please tell me that we'll be able to make it stuck to all of them, Democrat and Republican. I don't believe it will but I want to have hope.

With the discussion of long-form, creator owned being a hard sell right now. There is a place it can and is still thriving - Kickstarter. More and more creators are going there with the intent to serialize. Is it more work? Probably. I've mailed 1400 packages since June.
However...

These are unserious people, who do not understand even the very basics of critical thinking.
JD Vance: "Science as practiced in its best form is that if you disagree with it, then you ought to criticize it and you ought to argue against it."

It's probably fine, and I haven't looked into the creative team at all at this point but first impression? Looks pretty weak. How do you release a poster that looks this, insincere?

There’s another wave of author impersonators offering consultations/mentoring for a price. (I got one from “Claire Keegan” telling me I’m very promising!) I’m sure you are great, but I didn’t email to tell you how swell you are. Here’s info on book scams: www.penguinrandomhouse.com/prh-fraud/

Hey, I'm going to be honest, I've had some rotten luck these last couple months. About three different projects got cancelled, so, if you need covers, pages, posters, album art, and you like my style, please consider hiring me.

In the century leading up to 1975, nearly 6000 freighters went down in the Great Lakes.

The Edmund Fitzgerald was the last.

The last. In 50 years, not a single commercial freighter has been lost in the Great Lakes.

Why?

It's NOAA. Of course it's NOAA.

There is something so exciting when a character you've been writing as an ally suddenly becomes an adversary. Especially when you see it way before the other characters can figure it out. #writinglife #writing

I just saw this posted "If you’re not ready to increase your discipline, then prepare to lower your desires. " and it is honestly the story of my life. My inability to he disciplined has led me to limit my dreams and even my expectations of myself. I'm working on it but man it's slow going.

I just finished a rewatch of season 1 of Ripper Street, an early 2010's drama set in 1888. It's a police drama that embraces the themes of a turn of the century western really well. Definitely worth a watch.
