Been doing yoga once per week lately.

I feel like I've been missing out my whole life. It doesn't feel like much while you're doing it but after I get this awesome body high. Feels great.

Something I find hilarious:

British English speakers have no idea how to say the word plaid

I used to be an EA for c-level execs, and a big part of my job was managing their inbox.

They, and especially those above them in the social hierarchy—investors, advisors, board members, etc.—really are pretty much all just like this.
honestly one of the most striking things about epstein's emails is the fact that the man, described in many places as "a genius," is essentially subliterate

Completely bananas to me how many construction tech companies are.

There's been some consolidation in the space over the last few years, but there really aren't many major players.

Folks are going to make a ton of money when the consolidation starts.

For the public transit nerds:

Today I learned that Montpellier's tram line 3 was the first circular loop tram in France 🚃

Random and useless nugget for you all.

Huge breakthrough building Grizz (getgrizz.com)

For months, we've worked on a model to enrich account lists at scale for sales & marketing teams. Unleashed it today, and it works!

Already have customers lined up! We can sell data at a fraction of the cost of ZoomInfo now.

I can’t stop thinking about this Atlantic article from a few weeks ago. A study found that AI actually made developers 20% slower than working without it.

Just How Bad Would an AI Bubble Be?
The entire U.S. economy is being propped up by the promise of productivity gains that seem very far from materializing.

When I was a kid, a house around the corner gave every flavor of airheads to every kid, wrapped in a rubber band.
we don’t get a ton of kids on my street but the kids who do come this halloween are getting the good shit

A few weeks ago I teased a product I've been working on with 30k ARR before even launching.

Last week we launched officially, and it was a huge relief! Check out getgrizz.com

We're building industry specific data sets, starting with construction.

These people are so close to understanding what the left has been screaming about for years
SNAP isn't about "people who don't work." It's about people who don't get paid enough to live.

Of the 40 or so million people who rely on food stamps:

* Two-thirds are children, seniors, or disabled

* Most working-age adults who receive SNAP are employed—but in jobs that pay poverty wages

Double cargo bike IKEA run!

Montpellier has really good bike infrastructure generally, but the protected bike paths to IKEA were GREAT!

Finally got to wear biking rain gear too.

Who needs a car?

Another great run 🇫🇷

Really love how all the buildings in this area are uniquely designed.

So much better than the weird 4 over 1 style dominating the US

Banking in Europe is an entirely different level than USA. So much more efficient.

Wiring money in the US cost money, requires a phone call usually, and threats about how the bank isn't responsible for anything. Takes days.

In Europe, it takes literally seconds and 100% online.

When you expose your financials to your competitors just say "Vibey Codey did it" and it definitely won't get you fired.

Common trait of almost every expat I've met in France:

They own investment properties

I hit this wall about 6 months ago, found a partner, pushed through, and now we're at almost $30k ARR in only 2 months.

We don't even have a fully built product yet!

Pauline's advice is A+

Most indie hackers don’t fail because the idea is bad.

They fail because they give up too early.

Grand opening of a new park in Les Arceaux, Montpelier this weekend. Great spot!

Built over a parking lot and apparently some people are upset.

Car brain is everywhere folks! Glad the mayor is doing so much for pedestrian, bike, and community infrastructure in spite of it.

Had my first successful, 100% organic, interaction with somebody on the street in French

Old woman asked me if the train station was "over there" and I said "yes, over there"

Sorta ridiculous but pretty satisfying! So much harder than at a store or something where you have contextual clues.

Gratuitous French urban sunset

Can I fit any more incredible things in a picture? Will be tough.

Oh and the tram is free.

Remember when that Fox News guy said we should solve homelessness by just killing them?

Make you wonder why nobody else thought of that.
