Currently in Montpellier, France 🇫🇷
For the public transit nerds:

Today I learned that Montpellier's tram line 3 was the first circular loop tram in France 🚃

Random and useless nugget for you all.

Huge breakthrough building Grizz (getgrizz.com)

For months, we've worked on a model to enrich account lists at scale for sales & marketing teams. Unleashed it today, and it works!

Already have customers lined up! We can sell data at a fraction of the cost of ZoomInfo now.

Double cargo bike IKEA run!

Montpellier has really good bike infrastructure generally, but the protected bike paths to IKEA were GREAT!

Finally got to wear biking rain gear too.

Who needs a car?

Another great run 🇫🇷

Really love how all the buildings in this area are uniquely designed.

So much better than the weird 4 over 1 style dominating the US

They launched a product called "Vibe Codey" specifically for vibe coding your Salesforce security. I thought it was a joke.

Grand opening of a new park in Les Arceaux, Montpelier this weekend. Great spot!

Built over a parking lot and apparently some people are upset.

Car brain is everywhere folks! Glad the mayor is doing so much for pedestrian, bike, and community infrastructure in spite of it.

Why does the garbage bread have to be American 😱

Gratuitous French urban sunset

Can I fit any more incredible things in a picture? Will be tough.

Oh and the tram is free.

Some photos. The goal here is to block everything. Literally the name of the protest's rallying cry ("bloquons tout").

Seems like a lot of the protestors are anti Macron based on the signs

French know how to protest

Americans could learn a thing or two from the French

New bike racks going in around the corner from my apartment!

I assume this is part of Mayor Michaël Delafosse's bike infrastructure initiative that he kicked off in 2022. I'm here for it!

As an American, it's hard for me to grasp a school system in which every school nationwide starts on the same day!

What do people talk about when they meet people? I've had so many conversations with other Americans about when my school started as a kid.

Pastries in France are next level but I'm gonna need them American sized.

Only lasted 30 seconds

So many European cities have an indescribably chill vibe in the morning.

This area is hopping until 2am or later. In the morning, just peaceful.

Great part of being self employed is taking the day off whenever I want!

Family took ebikes to the beach in Palavas-les-Flots. Great ride, great beach. Love that the path follows the Lez river the whole way.

Digging the protected bike path through town in Montpellier.

Quickly becoming my all time best purchase.

Public transportation is also really living up to expectations!

Had a serious "whoa I live in France" moment today.

Took a floral-emblazened tram 8 minutes to the most amazing farmer's market under an 18th century aqueduct.

Musicians playing jazz and Latin music. Kids loving samples of the sweetest figs and plums into their faces.

Felt like a dream.

My new car: a Yuba FastRack cargo bike! Got the family edition with "monkey bars" and padded seats for the kiddos.

Goodbye to cars, hopefully forever!

Best part: the FastRack stores upright! Fits right in our apartment's storage locker.

Late night snack run at 11pm. Still a ton of people out.

Errands aren't feeling like errands recently!
