I have never seen anything like this in NYC. 5th Ave covered from 42nd St well to the 20s. Nobody prepared for this volume. Volunteers are holding the traffic on all the side streets. No police in sight. #handsoff

Hands off our Democracy today in Berkeley. Huge crowd! They ended up having to close off Sacramento Street for several blocks because there were so many people.

Another ominous development: The Social Security Administration is no longer allowing parents in Maine to register newborns for SSNs at hospital after birth, is instead requiring them to visit a Social Security Office to register their children.
