I put one into the outside air yesterday and it flew straight back in, then proceeded to bash itself against the (open) window as if I was keeping it prisoner!

Anyone good at identifying by bugs?? Hubby just found this little fellow in the garden. Insect app is saying Giant Mayfly but it’s far more yellow than pics of the Giant. Could this be a Yellow (name not colour!) Mayfly? #Gardening

The DWP exaggerated a 50% rise in sick/disabled claimants into 383% — got called out, then quietly edited the press release two weeks later.
No apology. No correction note.

Just got an iPhone 16 pro max as my 12’s battery was struggling. I love it except… that stupid floating island thing at the top. It annoys the fook out of me. I didn’t even notice the notch on my 12 but this black blob is doing my head in. It’s not like you can use the tiny bit of screen above it!

Huge thanks to @goldsborobooks.bsky.social for my book delivery. They are stunning. I’ve never had limited edition books before so it’s been exciting! The covers of The Shadow Key and The Puzzle Wood are just beautiful. All new authors to me too so can’t wait to get reading.

Many thanks to @bertsbooks.bsky.social for my books that arrived yesterday. So beautifully presented and it made it such a treat opening them up. Poppy the naughty tortie was very nonchalant about the books… right up until she saw the box and the ribbon 😍

Snuggled on the sofa with my heated throw getting some heat into my aching hips and legs while waiting for the pain relief to kick in. Poppy saw a grand opportunity for cosy comfort! ❤️
