Many thanks to @bertsbooks.bsky.social for my books that arrived yesterday. So beautifully presented and it made it such a treat opening them up. Poppy the naughty tortie was very nonchalant about the books… right up until she saw the box and the ribbon 😍

Snuggled on the sofa with my heated throw getting some heat into my aching hips and legs while waiting for the pain relief to kick in. Poppy saw a grand opportunity for cosy comfort! ❤️

A gloriously sunny day in south wales and I’m taking full advantage in the garden with a cuppa and my new book (a lovely memory of childhood reading). I saw it and couldn’t resist buying it!

When you’re not feeling well so you’re tucked up on the sofa with your heated throw (named husky), and the pet magnets arrive to snuggle up with you. They’re such sensitive souls, although Poppy would sit on anyone who had the husky!

I’ve been putting in some really long days studying recently so have barely checked into here. This morning however, Poppy committed herself to my knee while I was having my coffee and I’m actually quite enjoying some downtime on the sofa. (Pic of her helping me clean the pan drawer one day)

I got Dylan to sit still for a nano second! (Dylan doesn’t do selfies in the morning as there are far too many other things for a collie to attend to!)

I just love this boy ❤️ He struggles to cuddle in for long because he gets too hot, but he must have really wanted one this evening because he wedged himself in even though I had the heated throw on.

Dylan has been out on Saturday adventures with @chrisd216.bsky.social and thoroughly enjoyed himself by all accounts. He managed to get him to almost stand still to get a photo!

Decided I was having a slow start with my coffee in bed. Poppy and Dylan were quite taken with that idea. Dylan may be a collie and full of beans but he also doesn’t miss a trick when there’s a cosy spot to be had!

The cat stole mine so I ordered a new one recently. I upgraded to this super furry Alaskan husky imitation and I love it!

The pets are playful this morning and it’s causing chaos! Dylan stole the box from Poppy. Poppy has been flying about, stalking, pouncing and throwing things around. Dyl has pulled the stuffing out of one of his toys and now Poppy has batted a garlic bulb off the kitchen counter and into the hall!

I’ve just had this land in my notifications but I don’t know how it got there. How does someone ‘post’ into your notifications? Totally confused as to how this works.

Poppy now owns my heated throw. Just so you know, she likes it on heat level 2 during the day, but in the evening and overnight, it needs to be on 3 thanks very much 🙄
