why was israel in eurovision anyways? obviously america isn't in it because america is on the other side of the world. israel is, somewhat notably, also not in europe

I have just downloaded the NO THANKS app. It allows you to Scan barcodes of products before purchasing them to identify those made in Israel or produced by companies that support Israeli genocide. A futile gesture? Maybe, but anything is better than doing nothing.
