I thank you for giving me some insights. I still don't understand Bipolar but don't much feel the need to. We are all different yet are all the same. I am suspicious of categorising and diagnosing mental/emotional conditions. and putting them into neat boxes.

I live in France. The standard greeting is "bonjour", (good day) and on parting, "bonne journée" (have a good day) unless it is late when it would be "bon soir" and "bon soirée". Or at midi it might be "bonne après midi" (have a good afternoon), So I think "Good day".

If only it were that simple. We can't just say "Sorry, we made a mistake. We want to move back in." Why would they trust us to not have Brexit 2? Re-entry on original terms is not possible. We would need to adopt the Euro for a start, likely to be a deal breaker for most Brits. But not for me.

we all knowit is pointless but sometimes howling into the abyss can be theraputic. I have won many arguments (or so I have thought) but don't think I have changed anyone's mind. Most people who come to an argument these days come with armour plated ideoligy and fact-proof vests.

I feel sick. I am 80 and have supported Labour all my life. No longer. Where are the héros that built a NHS from the ruins of war? Did they give a shit about "growth"? But then governments were not in thrall to Bond Markets. They had a clear vision of what was needed and just fucking did it.

Abuse is abuse, and can happen to women well past the age of consent where there is an imbalance of power. CONFESSION. I have had sex with a 15 year old. I was also 15 and we learned about loving together. We loved for 4 years until we grew up and apart. At 80 I still think of her.
