and iirc a lot of the unarmed community response type outfits usually end up calling the cops as backup for a lot of their calls, which i don't think is actually the worst way to handle things, but you want those trained in de-escalation to retain overall control imo

Again, allow me to invite you to consider how the national media would treat this stuff if Janet Yellen said these types of things on the teevee shows.
Once again, this is shameful, wildly out of the Treasury Secretary’s lane, he should resign, & we should have some thoughtful reflection from everyone who told us he was a credible Cabinet choice because he went to the right schools & cocktail parties:

I don't think people have ever hated the Democratic party's values, they've just hated the people who rise to the top of the Democratic pile.
In this the Republicans were pretty far ahead of us with getting Trump and his goons to replace the much-maligned Neocons. Jeb Bush is/was their Schumer.
