I am inordinately proud of the Sex Matters intervention in FWS v Scottish Ministers. It's a model of calm, lucid, rational, orthodox legal reasoning leading inexorably to the only conclusion that makes sense.

This gives me far too much credit. It was Maya Forstater who first persuaded me that there had to be a respectable argument that the GRA didn't stick its spanner into the works of the EqA; and @michaelpforan.bsky.social who did the detailed doctrinal work of putting that argument together.

A good test of whether @bsky.app will really be an open, positive place is if @naomicunningham.bsky.social keeps having her posts absurdly labelled as "intolerance". She's a serious lawyer with views others may strongly disagree with. That's all. The label should be removed @moderation.bsky.app.

It's really disappointing to see that @support.bsky.team, thought it appropriate to label a woman and most of her posts as "intolerance".

A woman speaking facts is not intolerant. It is a woman speaking the truth. It is intolerant to shut down women for speaking the truth.

The left needs a materialist theory of change. It is lived experience not leaflets and newspapers that change people's views.

We need to go out into our communities and build socialism in action. We need to demonstrate as well as preach.
