Englishman adopted by beautiful 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. Slightly left of centre. Enjoy polite, friendly, and respectful debate but will try to avoid arguments (that’s for the other place). Apparently I’m egotistical for speaking up for men’s right to be a father to their kids.
Looking for anybody to try and debunk the £71,000 figure or justify the further disincentive to work created by the budget.

Cards on the table: I strongly disagreed with the abolition of the 2-child cap.

So pleased the government has lifted the 2-child benefit cap.

Means ppl like this lady on STV news could now afford a 3rd, or perhaps even 4th, flat screen TV because it’s a tough life with only 2.

Is this the answer to HMRC's billionaire blindspot 👀🤑? 🧵 1/5

A new report in the FT shows that HMRC clever 'big data' tech tools enabled HMRC to recoup £4.6billion in unpaid taxes last year.

That's more than the entire budget for NHS dentistry!

This ruling is a joke.

PPE Medpro will go bankrupt and the Government won't get a penny.

Michelle Mone should have to pay the £122m personally.

Is the Taco considering getting the US involved in the war against Ukraine as well?

Seems hanging on the tailcoats of aggressors is Trump’s foreign policy these days.

Much outrage in the comments to Paul’s post. Presumably from people, like me, with left-leaning politics.

But it’s clear “the left” are losing the argument over immigration. Little Englanders, brainwashed by billionaires, are becoming the majority.

We ignore that reality at our peril.
If you thought the PM’s speech was punchy, his foreword to the immigration white paper says high net migration has done “incalculable damage” to the country.

That is a serious shift in tone for a Labour government/party.

#Trump says he’ll make America wealthy again. What, what? The US is already the wealthiest nation on Earth.

Lack of wealth isn’t the problem. Inequality is.

And those feeling left behind are told (by the billionaires hoarding the $$) it’s the fault of foreigners.

Sound familiar? #Brexit. #MAGA

I give it no more than 6 months before Trump uses threatening language towards Europe accusing us of being “aggressive towards Russia”.

Meanwhile he’ll have dismantled all aspects of US government that stands in his way to absolute tyranny.

It was Macquarie bank that restructured the company to extract £7bn in dividends whilst allowing it to accumulate £15bn in debt.

The gov should make it repay. But they won’t as desperate for the likes of them to “invest” in (AKA legally steal from) the U.K.
Thames Water think they can refuse to fund Thames Water and Government will bail them out to protect Thames Water's creditors who are 100% from outside the UK

The Government plan is to temporarily renationalise Thames Water, for you to pay off its debts, and then to let someone else takeover so they can rob you, build up massive debts and do the same all over again.

NO water should be NATIONALISED.
