I love globular clusters

This is the Great Globular Cluster, M13, in Hercules, the largest globular visible from the northern hemisphere and contains several hundred thousand stars.
Imagine what the night sky would look like from a planet orbiting one of those stars!

This is part of the Summer Milky Way, featuring the stars of The Summer Triangle, nebulousity around Cygnus, and some core-ward star clouds! Enjoy!

The Andromeda Galaxy (M31) is the closest large spiral galaxy to the Milky Way and the largest in the Local Group. Located in the Andromeda constellation, it's about 2.54 million light-years away from Earth and visible to the naked eye from dark sky sites.
