You prepare it for 24-48 hours of downloading, find that it crashes and needs patches/mods, and finally get to play after exhausting yourself. Not Sure How They Deal With Criminals In Your Town, But ’Round Here We Use A Restorative Justice Process
Built a tier list of my current commander roster in order to see if there was anything I could take apart. This was a whole process. I kind of hate how many top 100 commanders are in my top tier, but that just shows me why they are popular.

New bracket article is out and there's a lot discourse. I think it's becoming clear that while cEDH has a lot in common with Bracket 1-4, it is increasingly becoming a different format altogether. This isn't a bad thing, but I think it's something we should acknowledge.

The last couple of months I've been using Cardsphere as an alternative to TCGPlayer for getting Magic singles, and here are some thoughts. It's technically a trading site and not a sales site, so the cards are *way* cheaper to get with no tax. But, you don't have complete control over what you get.

The entire process of trying to purchase a Secret Lair is as infuriating to consumers as it is avoidable by Wizards. Despite joining the waiting room an hour before the sale went live and waiting more than 90 minutes after, I wasn't able to purchase any of the lairs I was interested in.

Wild thing that happened last night in a commander pod. Had to figure out how to spend 50+ black mana a turn before combat from Black Market in a Teysa Karlov deck due to an opponent's Yurlok of the Scorch Thrash. Proud to say I took zero mana burn damage despite getting Black Market to 78 counters!

Cool play from last night. Had a board of creatures with a Sheltered by Ghosts (with Player 1's Phyrexian Obliterator under it). Player 2 cast Blasphemous Act, and in response I cast Ghostway to exile all of my creatures, returning Obliterator to the field. Poor guy had to sacrifice his whole board!

Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.

At the LGS I go to, we have a pack pact, where you create a commander deck from the first legend you pull out of a booster. Out of all the cool build around and high power legends in Final Fantasy, what's my pack pact? Prompto Argentum. Currently only 15 decks on EDHRec.
