YOU GUYS. I HAVE TEETH AGAIN AFTER ALMOST A YEAR. These are only the temporary crowns, and there are a couple more teeth to fix still, but I still cried when I looked in the mirror. Like... I started this day with 3 chipped/broken front teeth. #anorexiarecovery #edrecovery #recoverywin

I have decided that I'm going back to school to get my #MLIS. I have my #jurisdoctor already, but I hate working in law firms bc the field is toxic as hell.
Being a #lawlibrarian seems much cooler and more my speed. Also I don't want to take the Bar again lol.

THIS!!! I was talking to an author at Chicago Lit Fest, and he said that he only receives about a dollar of the sale if you buy on amazon vs. his website or a local bookstore.

don't order books (or anything) from Amazon today! Instead, order from a small press, Bookshop, a local bookstore, or request a book from your local library. Yes, Amazon is "easy," but it's continuing to kill local businesses and concentrate wealth.

People gatekeeping reading fills me with rage. Especially because audiobooks make reading more accessible to people who may not see well, or just bc they are busy and it's easier to pop in their ear buds and listen while they do what they need to do.
I guess we have to say, "I typed a book" instead of " I wrote a book" since listening to a book isn't reading it. 🙄

My best friend is a librarian and sadly, despite everything they do for their communities, many of them are getting literal 💀 threats because they allow #LGBTQIA+ books. Support local libraries!!
