Angels United are a football club built out of unspeakable grief. They're also turning loss into legacy and Oldham Athletic are helping them.

Luis Enrique on the tifo of his daughter

"Very emotional, lovely from the fans, and for my family. But I don't need to win a Champions League to remember my daughter. She's always present, with us. I feel it when we lose, too, it crystallises all the positives we lived."

Hmmm. Bluesky already and somewhat inevitably turning into the political cesspit and echo chamber akin to the other place. Must start muting certain names.

it genuinely sucks that basically nothing on the internet works well anymore. search? barely works. social media? filled with garbage engagement-bait designed to game the algorithm. news websites? pages that refresh at random or so covered in video ads that it’s impossible to read stories

In the mid 90's, Mark Acey and I co-developed the Garfield cast as super-heroes. They first launched as a digest book club series through Scholastic. My design and pencils. Inks by Larry Fentz, cover colors by Jeff Wesley and Mike Fentz. Jill Davis came up with the name Pet Force. #garfield
