it's also really important to spread the "this is illegal" message as far as you can because the majority of people are not exposed to it! most people do not even know the government is doing the illegal thing it's doing, let alone that it's illegal. when they learn about it they get mad!
I know it's frustrating when lawyers point out when something the administration is doing is not legal. But responding with "the law doesn't matter anymore" is really unhelpful and defeatist. Clarifying the law is important because it reminds us not to comply in advance and to resist and take action

It’s completely uncabined narcissism. Trump has spent his entire life indulging in extraordinary narcissistic fantasies about himself, but now the entire elite of the United States has convinced itself that it’s savvy to indulge those fantasies, so they metastasize into utter megalomania.

Any Democrat could go after his utter derangement on foreign policy, his betrayal of Ukraine, his threats towards Canada and Greenland. Just show up I these countries and crap all over him. There is absolutely no domestic support for this stuff and their failure to attack him shows how much of 1/2

Never forget.

Helping build the Illinois Holocaust Museum was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.

The lessons we can learn from survivors like Sam are too relevant today — and why the Satellite Campus we're opening is a reminder of our responsibility to speak up.

Gosh, maybe that's why we're supposed to have due process.
Cato has published my comprehensive review of the ~240 Venezuelans the US government renditioned 2 months ago to Salvador’s notorious prison. We identified FIFTY who came legally, never violated any immigration law, but are imprisoned at the US government’s request and at US taxpayer expense.

100 days into this presidency, Americans are paying the price - higher prices, crashing retirement accounts, and broken promises.

But the American people are turning, thanks to your voices. Keep it up.

It's up to us to demand something better.

FORTY MILLION DOLLARS to detain 400 migrants at Gitmo. That's $100,000 a person just to hold them for a few days — when they could far more easily be held in the United States!

Just a couple weeks ago it was reported to have cost $16 million. So the price tag is skyrocketing.
