The Hillsborough Law is an improvement but the fact that it’s taken over 30 years for the authorities of both flavours to think that cover-ups are probably a bad idea speaks volumes.

Still a long way to go on this. The Lords will try to do a number on it. But if passed as is mooted it will bring about a significant cultural change in how the British State has to operate.
