Numbers are fun.

427 students at 8 charter schools is an average of 54 students per school.

$10.9 million divided by 8 charter schools is $1.362 million per school.

Or about $25.5k per student.

State schools are 9k per student.

The number of enrolments had been kept under wraps after the agency told the privately-run, state-funded schools not to reveal their numbers while still setting up.

Can you imagine the desperation of teachers trying to assist people to get to school, parents trying to manage their difficult lives, kids who are struggling with mental or physical health, all knowing that non-attendance means other kids literally don’t get fed? He’a a MONSTER.

"We were missing 12 whole nurses [over the day] and we only have 13 nurses on the morning shift altogether, so we were half staffed. It was absolutely nuts."

Remember there is no nursing shortage according then Minister Reti or TWO Commissioner Lester Levy.

Cannot get a job - constantly put in applications - always ask for feedback when not selected (for interview even). I’m either over qualified and/or don’t know the right people - it’s soul destroying 😮‍💨

Austerity has a powerful impact on children’s mental health

The legacy of British austerity can’t be understood without considering the effects on mental health, especially childhood trauma.

This is the new image I meant to put as main pic. It shows the change in Thiel's holdings. Those letters NVDA stand for Nvidia and the words next to it are self-explanatory "SOLD ALL".

Thiel, the closest thing that Silicon Valley has to a bond villain, has pumped & dumped. So...what happens next?!?

Big Tech is so unregulated. If any other industry was creating products so faulty and so destructive, various agencies would be under pressure to rain down hell. But not with social media or AI. Laws around under 16s regulate US not THEM. They need to be regulated. It’s insane behavior.

A good time to remember that in addition to being a liberal value that most of us actually agree on accross the political spectrum, "free speech" is also the weakest defense of an argument, if you have to resort to "it's not illegal to say this" what you're saying probably has little value
