Pope Francis was a particularly loved figure in the Los Angeles region. The pontiff's death finds the community grappling with a "big loss."

Our whole problem right now is that the very small number of people in a unique position to take real action aren't doing so.

These small canvases from my recent trip to Chester received such positive feedback that I’m considering placing them in plastic sleeves and presenting them to my art dealer.
This piece, titled “Bridge Street,” is a personal favorite of mine.

I’m leading a letter with Rep. Terri Sewell and 131 colleagues demanding answers from the White House, USTR, Treasury, Commerce, and the SEC.
Who knew about Trump’s tariff reversal? When did they know? How did they know?
$300B didn’t move by accident. This is market manipulation.

Tonight we learned that it was indeed Andry, the gay man sent to El Salvador because of his “mom” and “dad” tattoos, who an American journalist saw sobbing as guards slapped him repeatedly and shaved his head.

He is an innocent. And Trump sent him to a torture prison.

Bring them back!

Do you know who laid the foundation for the FDA?

President Theodore Roosevelt. Do you know why? Because he read a great piece of literature that exposed the mistreatment of immigrant workers and the disgusting, unsanitary practices in meatpacking plants…

The book is called “The Jungle.”

Elon Musk tried to buy Wisconsin's Supreme Court. He lost.
Susan Crawford's victory means liberals will preserve their majority on the court.

This is more important than you realize. Bluesky doesn’t downgrade links. Which means news sites will get more traffic from here than other sites.

Which gives them economic reasons to post here first.
Bluesky says it is now sending referral traffic through its "go" subdomain to make it easier for publishers to track the traffic coming from the social network (Sarah Perez/TechCrunch)
