Four GOP Senators.

At most four Repubs in the House.

Together they could stop nearly all the mad-king's rampages. They would be known to history as Profiles in Courage. They might/would lose the next election. But people have sacrificed a lot more, for a lot less.
I can't repeat this enough.
I've said this before and I'll say it again.
It would only take a tiny handful of Republican Congress members or senators to stop the slide of America toward authoritarian fascism, but nope. They're all in.

As @frost.house.gov said, we all agree that we must eliminate fraud WHEREVER it exists.

But that fight starts at the top, and this Administration continues to turn a blind eye to white-collar crime and fraud in Republican-controlled states.

This is not justice.

This is the budget resolution that Republicans have voted for.

Another reminder that we have socialism for the rich, harsh capitalism for the rest.

1/2 🚨 The House just passed the GOP's brutal voter suppression bill—the SAVE Act—with zero Republican opposition and FOUR Democrats voting against our rights.

This bill could disenfranchise millions.
We won’t forget.

The United States of America is the only major country on earth that does not guarantee health care as a human right.

The result: We rank dead last among wealthy nations in life expectancy.

We must end that international embarrassment.

Yes. We need Medicare for All.

Cool so what happens if GOP attach a national abortion ban to a CR? You'll vote for that too?

My YES vote is *not* an endorsement of this deeply flawed CR.

My YES vote is 💯 about refusing to shut our government down.

I refuse to punish working families and plunge millions of Americans into chaos.

I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever vote to shut our government down.

Without going all Martin Niemöller here, I do think that it's bad not to speak up for immigrants, transgender Americans, civil servants, women, Ukraine, and everyone else the MAGA bullies are going after. We're beyond picking and choosing whom to defend. It's time to stand up and speak out.

This is what spending $290 million on an election gets you.

Money in politics has always corrupted, but it's hardly been this brazen.

I'm trying to rally Mainers to call Susan Collins and tell her to temporarily caucus with Dems to block everything until this DOGE insanity is ended. She's one of the very few who might be swayed to take action. Not likely, but doing nothing is guaranteed failure. We have to try.

Speaking as a rural person, they killed our economy so that corporations could move in and take over family farms. Now it is nearly impossible to buy land and equipment to farm. They have produced monopolies in Ag and food.

I suspect they would like to do the same with the entire economy.
There are a lot of different theories on why the ruling class would want to intentionally crash the economy. I think it’s all about wages. Raising interest rates tamed inflation without dramatically raising unemployment and slowing wage growth. They need to finish the job on those last two points.

While 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck, Musk, Bezos and Zuckerberg, combined, own more wealth than the bottom half of America.

Apparently, that’s not enough. Republicans want to give them a massive tax break by slashing Medicaid.

Together, we will stop them.
