One of my favorite bits of recent slang is the shortening of the phrase "technically yes, but actually (/in practice) no," to simply "yesn't."

Everyone is under an insane amount of stress right now so I think it's important to take a moment to center yourself and decide if that's really what you need to do before flying off the handle at someone. I also think there needs to be a little bit of leniency given to people who fail at that

Duolingo peeps and those of the linguistics/translator community, remember if you see an ICE agent, it's our civic duty to just start speaking in a foreign language in their presence (just make sure you've got sufficient documentation of course).
