I think I will qualify for the Dean’s List this semester and I am crying right now — when I started this semester I honestly thought I probably couldn’t do it. I’ve dropped out or otherwise had to leave school three times as an adult.

My high school still had a private, segregated prom taking place in town usually the same night as the school’s prom in about 2012. It was literally referred to as the segregated prom, paid for by white parents and usually at the town-owned Community House.

You could make a pastime out of riding I-70 towards Denver and looking for all the cars with pitiful trees that were plucked from some roadside somewhere.
Like it’s so obvious that is not from a legitimate source of Christmas trees sirs!!!

It’s 54° in my house right now bc the furnace isn’t working. It was 49° yesterday. Currently running the oven and several space heaters. If we could push it up fifteen degrees today between that and the sun, we’ll be much more comfy tonight.

If you’re lazy like me but love potato soup, my newfound obsession is frozen potato cubes, a can of cream of chicken soup, a box of chicken broth, a packet of ranch mix in a crockpot on low for four hours. Add a chopped block of cream cheese about an hour before you eat and top with whatever.

I never thought my tree-hugging ass would want a healthy tree gone, but I fucking hate the Ash Tree with passion.
All summer it ruined my beds by producing thousands of tree-lets; now it’s going to drop leaves well into winter so trying to winterize the garden is futile.
I am rooting for beetle!
