Right. Since when is it normal for an American president to threaten citizens with military force.
This ended very badly in 1970. Most people don't want a repeat.
It isn’t normal for a president to repeatedly threaten the use of military force against American citizens. Treating the National Guard as a political pawn disrespects those who serve and undermines public trust in our military.

Latest chapter in Trump's campaign of retribution
Paul Ingrassia—a 30-year-old former right-wing blogger and newly minted lawyer who was admitted to the bar in 2024—is Trump’s pick to lead the Office of Special Counsel.

Ingrassia has called Jack Smith a “disgusting man,” accused him of “election interference,” and said he should be jailed.

"We discovered 4 baby ducks in a planter.
No Mom in sight. "

were they black?
We discovered 4 baby ducks in a planter.
No Mom in sight.
Hours later we saw a Mom with 4 babies nearby in the water.
We took the 4 out of the planter, put them in the water in area where Mom went and crossed our fingers.
Happy to report Mom now has all 8 in tow.
Nature works.

Personally I don't give AF if you want to wear mask, be my guest but the last 3 points are completely bat sh-t crazy
If you value your health, wear a mask.

If you want to practice community care, wear a mask.

If you want to show solidarity with disabled and marginalized people, wear a mask.

If you want to fight fascism, wear a mask.

We need people as healthy as possible so they can resist. Mask up.

The US govt involved in a 'hunger games' TV show in which immigrants compete for citizenship
Kristi Noem has been working with the producer of “Duck Dynasty” to pitch a reality TV show—titled “The American”—where immigrants will compete in a string of challenges across the country “for the honor of fast-tracking their way to U.S. citizenship,” according to a new report.

Five months.

People being thrown out of jobs
A new tariff policy that has the country headed for recession
Stunning how fast this has happened with little resistance from Congress

Where is the GOP to stand by and allow the decimation of such a vital part of climate preparedness.
Europe, hopefully, will step in and take the lead if this happens.
NEW: The total loss of NOAA’s office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research —a nerve center of global climate science, data collection and modeling — represents a setback for climate preparedness that experts warn the nation may never recover from.

A reminder if you had not RIGGED the 2020 election this would all be over by now
Trump is quite obsessed with
a: losing to Biden
b: overturning everything he did as if Biden was never president
President Trump has mentioned the name “Biden” 6.32 times a day on average during his first 50 days back in office, a New York Times analysis shows. It's among his most frequently used terms: He has said “Biden” in more speeches than he has said “America,” for example.

American here - *PRESIDENT* Trump gives me nor anyone close to me ANYTHING to worry about. I've never slept better
Trump gives Americans and people close to them something to worry about every day.
Deportation
Impact of tariffs
Social security
Medicaid
Medicare
SNAP
And so on
About 1 in 5 U.S. adults worry they or someone close to them might be deported.

It's been a busy week folks but today's #CRYHARDER Award goes to Old Man Rodricks! A first time winner but I expect we're have a new regular on our hands bsky.app/profile/danr...
All media need to stop using the word "reforms" to describe what Musk is doing to Social Security and other agencies of the government. There's nothing reformative about it. It's just arbitrary, performative, stupid and cruel.
March 27, 2025 at 5:29 PM
It's a new week and the first #CRYHARDER award goes to loony bin regular: @jemillerbalt.bsky.social ! Her 4th win overall
I would agree. All the fuss about Hillary's emails.
But crickets from the GOP about using Signal to talk about war plans...including with a member of the media
I'm no lawyer, but it seems like discussing war plans in Signal outside a SCIF is maybe just a little bit worse than using a private server to send emails that weren't even marked as classified. But what do I know.
March 24, 2025 at 9:10 PM
It's pretty early but as it's Saturday I'm going to give today's #CryHarder Award to.... @jemillerbalt.bsky.social ! congrats Jayne that is 2 days in a row and your 3rd overall win this week!
Trump's weaponization of DOJ ratchets up.
The heart of our legal system is lawyers who are advocates or adversaries.
Trump intensifies his scrutiny of the American legal system by directing Attorney General Pam Bondi to “review conduct” by lawyers and firms who engage in “frivolous, unreasonable, and vexatious litigation” against the US.
March 22, 2025 at 1:37 PM
Today's #CryHarder Award goes once again to @jemillerbalt.bsky.social ! Congrats Jayne that's two wins this week alone
I have long thought insecurity was the driving force against DEI
The Jackie Robinson situation highlights the crybaby absurdity of the present DEI erasure. Everyone knows Negro League players were good enough to dominate MLB and when Black players, led by Robinson, finally got to join MLB, they performed at the highest level. His success proves the merits of DEI.
