BREAKING: Democrats just tried to pass a standalone bill to fund WIC & SNAP to make sure families don't go hungry during the Republican shutdown.

Republicans BLOCKED it. So Trump won't use emergency funds to keep SNAP running, and Republicans won't let any bills pass. Shameful.

Would be great in BMore. We have some great local artists to make it happen with charm!
200+ bike and scooter corrals will be installed across Seattle to make it clearer and easier to find a place to park shared bikes and scooters.

These, created by local artist Roy (Eroyn) Franklin, were installed in partnership with Seattle Symphony, Benaroya Hall, and the Office of Arts & Culture.

Here's a gift link to the New York Times' coverage of the initial Tea Party rallies in April 2009 which inspired the media to treat it like a massive movement.

Check out how tiny the crowds were:

DC: "several hundred"
Boston: 500
Austin: 1,000
Houston: 2,000

So just to be clear: The US is propping up Argentina’s economy, and now Argentina can eliminate its export taxes, so it can sell tons of soybeans to China, so China isn’t forced to buy soybeans from the US, so the US can pay subsidies to keep our farmers solvent.
