The State of Minnesota is a separate sovereign, entitled to enforce its own laws. Feds are certainly entitled to conduct a parallel investigation, but not to freeze out state investigators.

It’s really hard to believe that any senior person in the Trump admin thinks Kristi Noem as DHS director helps them in any way. If I was the most ardent Trump supporter, I would want her out. From her handling of FEMA to her ICE photo ops & interviews, all she does is hurt them.

This exchange makes me think Tom Homan took $49,999 or $50,001, since he seems to very narrowly deny taking $50,000. Of course, he could just be lying, which is official Trump regime policy.

Yes, when I think of voices calling for civic discourse and toning down the rhetoric, I think of the Trump administration. IN particular, I think of the guy who has routinely threatened to arrest elected officials who disagree with him.
