I was still a child when I figured out that rules are only needed to keep people from doing things they want to do. There is no need for rules to prohibit things no one wants.
From this I deduced that if something was prohibited it must be really desirable.

I think a lot of people have lost the thread, but the whole reason that President Trump is so desperate to maintain the slim GOP majority in the House is that he knows the a House with a Democratic majority will impeach him.
And he's not sure of his support in the Senate these days.

MAGA Republicans don't seem to understand that Democrats want every guilty man in the Epstein files held accountable. All of them, including any Democrats.

Why don't the airlines agree to lend money to the air traffic controllers at very favorable interest rates (or zero interest) with the loans coming due when the federal government issues their back pay?
That would keep everyone flying and the airlines have the money to do it.
