Met this incredible Padme in Brisbane. Her anguish was palpable!

(I’m guessing Sio Bibble just gave her the lowdown on what jammed communications signified for her beloved Naboo.)

Here’s the thing. I am pleased to see the files coming out, but not expecting a goddamn thing to change.

A lot. That is a lot.

Saw this very delightful building. (In Melbourne, while walking from here to there on some nice little street.)

This is beginning to happen to me quite a bit as well. The future is amazing!
The AI generated scam emails from nonexistent book groups (that try to extract some sort of fee) and phony book marketing/promotion ‘experts’, both trying to scam vulnerable authors, are out of control. The sheer number I receive daily is nuts.
AI generation makes them un-filterable.

I thought being overseas for Halloween would be tough, but it’s got nothing on missing the election parties. Celebrate in my stead, team.

Last time I was in Melbourne I caught a repertory screening of The Day the Earth Stood Still.

I guess I have a theme, because this time I managed to see (for the first time on the big screen…)

Often but not always. I also like the “music” of busy public spaces - bars, coffee shops, etc. Like a white noise machine that pours out human energy inspiration fuel.

(Just call me Colin Robinson.)
Do you write to music? Seems like a pretty common thing among writers

I have a different Moleskine for every project, which helps a bit. As far as switching mediums, it can take a little time. I dump ideas into a notebook until the project feels like it has enough tensile strength to support me actually writing it.
Do you have a trick when switching your brain between mediums to write or is it all the same for you?

Nope! Haven’t for a good while. Closed my practice when writing took off. Still licensed, still a lawyer, but not taking clients.
Do you still practice law?
