"we USE ai, but our game wont CONTAIN it" is a clarification that no one has ever cared about & now CEOs are using it as a wedge to get their foot in the door as a part of a long term plan into normalizing AI, just like how 'it's just placeholder' was used with E33. dont cede even an inch of ground

It's frustrating seeing so many people immediately forgive The Completionist because he's playing stupid (again), and still acting like he was totally uninvolved and unaware of what his family did with the donations he gathered. Too many people are overly trusting.

Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.
They try to downplay this on the Steam store page by describing the AI usage as vaguely as possible.

Remember how we used to have a yearly vote for the worst company of the year, and EA complained about feeling bad after winning like 5 years in a row so the whole thing got shut down? Yeah we should've never stopped bullying EA.
