If Trump is really stealing spending power from Congress then it would be insanity for Democrats to vote to fund the government later this month. Shut it down until the president stops wiping his ass with the Constitution.

Look if we just go around beating the absolute shit out of social media assholes there’s bound to be some sort of long-term theoretical negative externality or something

Anyway be careful out there Nate Silver
to add to the Jake Paul schadenfreude, Andrew Tate also lost a fight to some reality TV influencer. most analysis of the fight I've read described his opponent as deeply untalented but Andrew lost anyway. Tate's endurance was awful and he was gassed after the first round.

This is how you do it.

Trump’s spiteful defamation suit against the Pulitzer Prize Board may backfire, as the latter is now demanding Trump’s psychological records, prescription medication records, and tax returns in the discovery process.

Donald Trump isn’t going to be happy about this one.

I love how the Secretary of Health and Human Services, the guy in charge of our national well-being, runs away like a cartoon character the moment somebody needs medical help. The other Trump gargoyles at least attempt to look concerned. Kennedy sprints off camera.
holy shit -- one of Trump's toadies just passed out and the White House event is brought to an abrupt end

All around Washington D.C.
They're trying to track me down
They say they want to bring me in guilty
For the spilling of some mayonnaise
For wasting all the dijon, but I say

I will say, turning a couple of the country’s most famous comedians into free speech martyrs seems like you’re basically fast-tracking your way into a color revolution

usually if you ask experts why an empire fell they’ll say it’s nuanced and multifaceted, so i think it’s kind of cool that with America future historians will get to just say like “oh they took the idiot train to moronsville”

Of course, this is all by design. The kleptocrats don't want to pay for public schools or even have a broadly educated population. Because denying people education makes it easier to delude them with disinformation and force them into the low-paid manual work that will remain as most jobs get AI-ed.
"We don’t make enough money to put up with this."

Last year, US K-12 schools opened short 55,000 teachers. Between book bans and political attacks on schools and educators, it's looking like this year's shortages will be even more dire, especially in red states.

American Teachers in Red States Are Walking Away for Good
The predictable consequences of the right wing’s war on public schools are being felt as educators leave their communities—and their profession.
