Home Assistant and smart plugs have 100% brought me to the dream realization I had as a kid: What if I could only turn on lava lamps as mood lighting *only* when they can be enjoyed?
Now we have ~ 7 lava lamps in the house for enjoyment, all on smart plugs and schedules :)
