I'm almost done reading "When Women Were Dragons" by Kelly Barnhill. One the central events of this fictional memoir/historical fiction is an event in 1955 when 140-some thousand women turned into dragons. HUAC had classified hearings about it. It got me thinking, how long did HUAC last? UNTIL 1975!
