These are the times Trump wants to take us back to, where everyone else is an enemy, and othered. Opposing viewpoints are healthy for a democracy.

I knew it was around after WW2, mainly because of the Hollywood blacklist, but I had no idea it continued into the mid 70s! I was born in 1976, I witnessed the fall of the Berlin wall and the collapse of the Soviet Union.
