Having a "hey you're about to hit NSFW content" buffer page on a site isn't bad, it helps avoid unknowingly surfing a page in a situation where you'll face consequences for it.

But payment processors forcing sites to randomly terrorize their users IS bad.

You can check yourself by clicking pay with card on your game, mine gives me an immediate error.

During one of the biggest marketing pushes I've ever had, itch has decided to not let people purchase my game.
I will likely hand out plenty of business cards at PAX U. And people can't buy my game.
This is extremely frustrating and disheartening.

They're pretty nice, and came in really fancy packaging!
